Lee Alexander

As vice president of power plant operations, Lee Alexander has overall responsibility for safely managing and operating Entergy Mississippi’s non-nuclear power generation fleets. He assumed the position in 2024, with 26 years of experience in power plant operations and maintenance and a successful track record managing complex projects.
Prior to his new appointment, he served as senior manager, where he oversaw plant operations at Hinds and Attala power stations. His responsibilities also included the demolition and decommissioning of Rex Brown and Baxter Wilson power plants, along with the safe closure of Lake Hico in Jackson, Mississippi.

Previously, Alexander served as plant manager at Baxter Wilson Power Station from January 2020 until the site’s retirement in May 2022. His extensive experience spans various roles in processes, operations and maintenance across the Mississippi power plants. His areas of expertise include NERC and CIP compliance, environmental standards, outage planning and execution, and project management, all critical to Entergy’s ongoing commitment to operational excellence.

Alexander joined Entergy in 1998 and has held numerous positions over the years, including operator, technician, maintenance supervisor, process superintendent, and production superintendent.
