JoAnne Ivy, CPA, joined Entergy in 2018 and has served as director of finance for Entergy Mississippi since January 2024. In this role she has primary responsibility for the company’s financial planning and reporting.

Prior to her current role, Ivy served Entergy’s nuclear business where she provided oversight for cost tracking of refueling outages, and capital spend and closings for the nuclear fleet.

Before Entergy, Ivy worked at Southern Company’s Gulf Power operating company where she was a financial reporting and tax supervisor. Having held positions previously at IMB Connecting and Cavett, Turner and Wyble, LLP, Ivy is a certified public accountant and certified fraud examiner. 

Ivy earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas.
